Cancellation Policy

Package Lessons For cancellations, please give at least 24 hours notice to avoid losing your paid lesson. For cancellations made with the proper notice period, the lesson will carry over to the end of the term. If there is no time to deliver the catch-up lesson during that term, it will carry over and be delivered at the end of that term. The cost of a block booked set of lessons for a term will not be reduced to reflect any carried over lessons from previous terms. No refunds will be given on any prepaid lessons but we will ensure that you receive all the lessons you have paid for. Any decision to carry forward lessons or even give refunds is entirely at the discretion of Woodshed Music School. Pay as You Go For cancellations, please give at least 24 hours notice once a booking has been confirmed. The cut-off point for cancellations will be when you receive the reminder which is automatically sent 24 hours before a lesson. If you do not attend a lesson and have not given sufficient notice then you will be charged for the missed lesson. An invoice will be generated and any future bookings will not be possible until this has been paid. Woodshed Music School will pursue any outstanding invoices even if you decide to cease lessons with an outstanding balance. If for any reason you decide to stop having lessons, there is no notice period and you simply don't renew your lessons for the next term. Please notify Woodshed Music School that you will not be returning for lessons as a courtesy. There will be no refund on lessons not attended due to a decision made to stop having lessons during a term. Lessons start promptly at the times stated and last for 30 mins (group) or between 20-30 minutes (one-to-one). You may join the lesson even if you are late but the session will end at the stated time ready for any following groups. There will be no refund or partial refund for any missed time due to these circumstances. In the unlikely event that a tutor has to cancel, we will contact you 24 hours before to notify you. We endeavor to ensure all lessons still go ahead even if your regular tutor cannot make it. In this situation, you may be taught by another qualified tutor. If this is not possible then the missed lesson will carry forward. Sometimes, there are situations beyond anyone's control. Unforeseen circumstances will be seen on a case by case basis and we will suggest an alternative solution.
